The Perican® epidural needle by B.Braun possesses a Tuohy bevel and is suitable for continuous epidural anesthesia.
Due to their Tuohy bevel, Perican® needles enable safe positioning of the catheter during the process of epidural anesthesia. Monitoring of the puncture depth is easy, thanks to the needles 1 cm graduation. The small wings provide a stable grip while handling the needle and reflux of fluids is controllable via the transparent needle hub.
Disposable Perican® needles are available in different sizes. Each needle has a color-coded stylet hub.
