The artery clamp by Behrend, an instrument for short-term holding of blood vessels, is hot-air-sterilisable and available in 14 or optionally 16 cm.
The artery clamp, also known as the arterial or vascular clamp, is used for the short-term holding of severed blood vessels and for primary hemostasis. Due to the grooved mouth and the rounded tip, it provides a secure grip and avoids cuts.
