Doppelherz Omega-3 1000 vegan Tablets consist of 1000 mg algae oil, including 500 mg EPA/DHA with 2 capsules daily.

Two capsules of Doppelherz Omega-3 1000 vegan contain 500 mg of the valuable omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, which are derived from the oil of a special microalga (Schizochytrium sp.). This microalga serves as a direct non-animal source for EPA/DHA extraction, offering a good plant-based alternative for those who want to avoid animal products. The algae oil contains both docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), which are important fatty acids for the body, in high doses. EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function, and this positive effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA. For oil production, algae from aquacultures are used, conserving resources and preserving the food base for fish while still producing high-quality oil.
