The Epican® Paed epidural needle by B.Braun has a Crawford type bevel and is suitable for epidural anesthesia and analgesia in children.
Epican® Paed needles for pediatric caudal anesthesia enable precise puncturing due to their Crawford type bevel. 5 mm length markings enable visual control of the injection depth. Possible reflux of fluids during the injection process can be monitored via the transparent needle hub.
These disposable needles are available in different needle sizes with color-coded stylet hubs. For example sizes for newborn, toddlers and small children.
