Product details - Human Brain Multiple Frontal Sections
The human brain in frontal (coronal) sections by Erler Zimmer is an innovative model, suitable for studies of the brain structures and can be disassembled into several parts.
The model of a human brain in frontal sections can be dissassembled and – due to discreet built-in magnets and push-fit mating surfaces – can be fitted together firmly. For example, physicians or students can study the neuronal structures of the brain which differ depending on the plane of section. Since neurologic anatomical markers are often used for the confirmation of suspected diagnoses, students in health sciences have to be adept at deciphering neurological structures from different viewing angles. This innovative model with its frontal (coronal) sections is ideal for this purpose. It has been developed and created in consultation with Dr. Cara Davies, Ph. D.
