The model of a kidney with adrenal gland by Erler Zimmer is a realistic reproduction, two times enlarged and consists of 2 separable parts.

The two-part model is a reproduction of a human kidney, in approximately double life-size. The front part of the model is removable to allow for view of the internal structures. Shown internal structures include cortex, medulla, pyramids, calyces, renal pelvis, ureter and origins of the renal artery and vein. The model is mounted on a stand and is delivered with an educational card. As it is highly detailed, the model is well suited to be used for medical training and education as well as for patient information.
