The stomach model with gastric band by Erler Zimmer is a life-size reproduction of the human stomach and shows the function of a gastric band.
The stomach model is a reproduction in original life-size to show the function of a gastric band for educational reasons or for patient information. Gastric bands are used e.g. during treatment of morbid obesity. The stomach model can be disassembled into two halves to allow for view of the internal anatomical structures. It is delivered together with a removable stand.
