Humidifier
On this page you will find information about humidifiers
What is a humidifier?
A humidifier is a device for increasing the humidity of the air in a room. Especially in the winter months it can happen that the humidity in living and working rooms decreases through constant heating. This often leads to discomfort and is also not beneficial for the respiratory passages.
Permanently too dry air can even lead to respiratory diseases. If this is the case the use of a humidifier could be considered. These devices atomize water and release it into the room air increasing the moisture content of the air.
Possible applications:
- Living room
- Bedroom
- In the winter when the room air is dry
Information about humidifiers
There are pure ultrasonic atomizers which atomize the water and thus release it into the air. With these devices it is recommended to use distilled water otherwise there is a risk of transferring germs into the room air. Because of the ultrasonic atomization these Beurer Aroma humidifier devices are very quiet and are therefore also suitable for use in bedrooms.
However, these devices have a small water tank, as well as a lower humidification rate because of their mostly compact design. The second type of humidifiers works on a different principle. In them the water is vaporized and then transferred to the air by an ultrasonic atomizer. Through the vaporization all germs are killed so a possible transmission of germs is completely prevented.
Vaporizing humidifiers usually have a larger water tank and a significantly higher humidification rate which is why these devices are also suitable for larger room areas. But the higher performance consumes more energy.
This energy is needed to convert the water into steam. Furthermore, vaporizing humidifiers produce a higher noise level.
Of course, you will also find a wide selection of humidifiers in our store.
