Instructions for using the HARTMANN® insect sting healer:
Before use, make sure the sting site is clean and any stinger residues are carefully removed. Clean the device thoroughly before and after each use. For best results, the device should be used immediately after the sting or bite, but it can also help to relieve symptoms and provide comfort later on.
For the first use of the device, it is recommended to select program 1 to test your heat tolerance. Clean the device before and after each use. If the device is used on different skin areas, disinfect it with isopropyl alcohol (also available in our shop) or another medical cleaning agent to avoid the transfer of bacteria. Bring the device to room temperature during cleaning. Wipe the heating plate and housing with a soft cloth (a small amount of alcohol or other medical cleaning agent is recommended). Ensure that no cleaning agents enter the device to avoid irreversible damage. Do not use hard brushes, as they can cause scratches.
Note: Never leave the device unattended near small children or persons who cannot operate it on their own.
Select the appropriate program:
- For sensitive skin – Program 1: Press the power/program button once. The indicator lights up blue.
- For normal skin or mild symptoms – Program 2: (3 seconds/51 °C): Press the power/program button twice. The indicator lights up white.
- For normal skin and stronger symptoms – Program 3: (6 seconds/51 °C): Press the power/program button three times. The indicator lights up violet.
