The iris scissors of the Peha-series by Hartmann are used for cutting and removing of threads but also for surgical intervention of the eye or smaller cuts around the edges of a wound. The iris scissors are 11,5 cm long and are made of non-reflective steel. The sterile scissors are individually wrapped and available as straight or bent version. Clearly marked as disposable, there is no danger of mixing-up these scissors with sterilisable tools.
