The Kay SL super run with soft bedding of Birkenstock is available in sizes 35 to 42 and the widths normal or narrow.

The Kay SL offers all the advantages of the BIRKENSTOCK classics Tokyo & Boston combined in one model. The upper instep strap can be folded back if necessary and then offers as a heel strap for additional support. The super outsole is slip-resistant, rolls ideally and is also oil and grease resistant. Its midsole made of EVA has an additional soft bedding in the leather version. It permanently and reliably cushions every step - even for sensitive feet. This high degree of flexibility and surefootedness is particularly in demand in the medical sector. All super outsole models are tested according to the specifications of EN ISO 20347:2012 with regard to slip resistance.

Special feature: soft bedding

The soft bedding has a latex foam cushion integrated into the footbed. It therefore offers a particularly comfortable wearing sensation from the very first day.

Upper: Natural leather

Our natural leather is mostly smooth leather, in some cases rolled leather. This type of leather has many special properties, such as breathability, adaptation to the shape of the foot and durability.

Inner sole: Leather insole

The skin-friendly, flexible leather cover sole gently nestles against the foot and adapts to its contours. The open-pored and thus particularly breathable surface enables a pleasant foot climate even during heavy physical activity.

Footbed material: Cork

Cork is a renewable raw material obtained from the bark of the cork oak. The natural product is heat insulating and has very good cushioning properties.

Outsole: Super outsole

The super outsole consists of two components: an anti-slip, oil- and grease-resistant rubber outsole and a shock-absorbing midsole made of lightweight, flexible EVA plastic.
