The life-size model of a female pelvis half is median sagittal sectioned to allow for free view of the inside of the pelvic area. Muscles and blood vessels of the abdomen as well as urogenital organs are shown in precise, coloured reconstruction. The following parts are removable: one half of the uterus, vagina and bladder as well as one half of the bowel with rectum. The model weighs roughly one kilogram.
The pelvis model is suitable to educate future physicians or to inform patients about imminent procedures or treatments.
