Instructions for using the HARTMANN® insect bite healer:
Ensure the bite site is clean and all stinger remnants are carefully removed before use. Thoroughly clean the device before and after each use. For best results, the device should be used immediately after the bite, but it can still help relieve symptoms and provide comfort later. When using the device for the first time, it is recommended to choose program 1 to test your heat tolerance. Clean the device before and after each use. If the device is used on different skin areas, disinfect it with isopropyl alcohol, which is also available in our shop, or another medical cleaning agent to prevent the transmission of bacteria. Bring the device to room temperature before cleaning. Wipe the heating plate and housing with a soft cloth (a small amount of alcohol or another medical cleaning agent is recommended). Ensure that no cleaning agents enter the device to avoid irreversible damage. Do not use hard brushes as they can cause scratches.
Note: Never leave the device unattended near small children or individuals who cannot operate it alone.
Choose the right program:
- For sensitive skin – Program 1 (3 seconds/48 °C): Press the power/program button once. The indicator lights up blue.
- For normal skin or mild symptoms – Program 2 (3 seconds/51 °C): Press the power/program button twice. The indicator lights up white.
- For normal skin and stronger symptoms – Program 3 (6 seconds/51 °C): Press the power/program button three times. The indicator lights up violet.
