The self-adhesive plaster bandage from Lifemed® is used to protect minor injuries and to securely fix wound dressings and stabilize joints. The stretchable plaster bandage adheres to itself and offers a pleasant wearing comfort. The size can be easily adjusted by tearing. The water-resistant plaster bandage adheres even when in contact with water.
Application of the plaster bandage:
Stabilization of joints & protection of injuries
Wrap the Lifemed self-adhesive plaster bandage several times around the joint or injury, tear off from the roll and fix in place. Clean and dry the skin area before applying the plaster dressing.
Treatment of wounds with the plaster bandage:
Fold the front part of the plaster dressing several times to form a wound pad in this way. Alternatively, a separate wound dressing can be used. Place the wound pad on the injury, wrap it several times with the self-adhesive plaster dressing, tear it off the roll and fix it in place.
Note: Apply the Lifemed adhesive bandage only so tightly that it is comfortable to wear. If tingling or numbness occurs in the treated area, loosen or rewrap the plaster bandage.
